I was impassioned to make this film to welcome all Dominicans who want to share their experiences and stories through my understanding and vision. This relationship combined with a dedicated professional cast and crew made this work possible, and as a result, have opened some doors in Hollywood and enabled me to share this unique film with the world. Being writer and director, my interest is to continue this journey in the Dominican cinema and make films that will motivate and inspire to promote social awareness about the country. At the same time, I also wish to introduce the beauty and the serenity of the country life, despite its imperfections and simplicity, to others. My ideal goal, God-permitting, is to become the Juan Luis Guerra of cinema, and produce impressionable Dominican films that have a higher worldwide standard of quality.

The opportunity to film in this country has given me the rare chance to work and discover exciting new talent and exotic un-chartered locations in the Dominican countryside. I now aspire to represent the small towns as a translator of their stories, and to continue sharing their lives as I see them through the camera and the magic of cinema.
